Meeting minutes for October 12, 2011

The meeting was opened with a prayer at 7:00 by the Vice Chairman, Ray Roy.

In attendance: Bob Anastasoff, Mike Pendergrass, Ray Roy, Bob Belair, Marcel Martel,
John Thibault, Dick Dion,
Guy Peloquin and Mike Dion. Roger Gobeil, Roger Tremblay and Dick Tardif were excused.

Meeting Minutes - Mike Pendergrass, Secretary: The minutes of the September meeting were
presented. Marcel Martel moved to accept the minutes. John Thibault seconded. Approved 9,0.

Financial Report - Marcel Roy, Treasurer: The Association’s financial report for the current
fiscal year through September 29th was presented. With all current bills paid, the general fund
had a balance of $9,744.82. It was moved by Marcel Martel and seconded by Guy Peloquin to
accept the report as presented. Approved 9,0.

Communications:

None

Committees:

Bingo - Marcel Roy presented the report for September. Revenues were $1,181.00. After
expenses and donations the Bingo account had a bank balance of $10,555.64 on 9/31. The report
was placed into the permanent record.

Sealed Tickets - Mike Pendergrass presented the report for September. Revenue was $1,356.00
After expenses and donations the Sealed Ticket account had a bank balance of $10,066.60 on 9/31.
The report was placed into the permanent record.

Facilities/Hall Rentals - Dick Dion: The hood above the stove in the kitchen is not working properly.
Dick will get estimates to have it repaired and/or replaced and report at the November meeting.

Property - Dick Tardif: No report.

Newsletter - Ray Roy: Next issue will be published in October. Ray mentioned that only two more
Newsletters are planned in the traditional mailed format.. It was conceded that not everyone is on the
internet, provisions will have to be made for those people.

Membership - Marcel Martel: Nothing to report.

IT- Bob Anastasoff: Bob reported the activity on the website jumped to 1,300 visitors in September.
Bob indicated that Roger Gobeil will be completing the Class of ‘65 individual webpage soon, and as
soon as it is up and running, Roger will take of over as WEBMASTER. Those interested in developing
a individual webpage for their class should contact Roger directly at gobe100@gmail.com.

Nominating - Bob Belair: With several members of the Board stating their intentions not to run for re-
election in June, Bob requests that a full 3 member nominating committee be appointed by the December
 meeting. The Board members whose terms end in June of ‘12 are: Roger Tremblay, Roger Gobeil,
Bob Anastasoff, Bob Belair, Mike Dion and Mike Pendergrass.

Community Relations - John Thibault: The updating of the Alumni history on the website will take some
time to accurately research and construct what has occurred over the past 20 years. John has sent letters
to several past officers requesting input and ideas on how to increase participation in the Association. This
will be a on-going effort.

GOOD OF THE ORDER:

A Thanksgiving Party will be held Friday, 11/25 catered by Lucky Loggers. Social hour begins at 5:30
with the meal at 6:30.

The Christmas Party will Friday December 16th. Social hour begins at 5:30 and pork pies will be served at 6:30.

The Alumni Band’s Holiday Concert will be held at the City Theater December 9th and 10th.

Next meeting will be November 9, 2011..

With no further business before the Board, Mike Dion moved, Dick Dion seconded to adjourn at 8:30.
