Meeting minutes for October 14,2009

The meeting was opened with a prayer at 7:00.

In attendance: Roger Tremblay, Ray Roy, Mike Pendergrass, Bob Belair, Dick Tardif,
Gary Paquette, Mike Dion, Dick Dion, Rick Grenier and Marcel Martel .Excused: Bob
Anastasoff. Absent: Guy Peloquin.

Meeting Minutes - Mike Pendergrass, Secretary: The minutes of the September 2009
meeting were presented. It was moved by Rick Grenier and seconded Marcel Martel to
accept the minutes as presented. Approved 10,0.

Financial Report - Roger Tremblay in the absence of Marcel Roy: The Association’s
financial report for the current fiscal year through September 30th was presented. With all
current bills paid, the general fund had a balance of $10,469.59. It was moved by Rick
Grenier and seconded by Dick Tardif to accept the report as presented. Approved 10,0.

Request for an ad from BHS Girl’s Basketball.

Request for team sponsorship from Biddeford Youth Hockey.

All items referred to New Business.

Bingo - Roger Tremblay presented the report for September. Revenues were $1,351.00.
After expenses and donations the Bingo account had a bank balance of $10,584.06 on
9/30 . The report was placed in permanent record.

Sealed Tickets - Mike Pendergrass presented the report for September. Revenues were
$1,280.00. After expenses and donations the Sealed Ticket account had a bank balance of
$5,676.27 on 9/30. The report was placed in permanent record.

Facilities/Hall Rentals - Dick Dion reported that a temporary fix had been completed
on the exit door in the Member’s room, which should be enough to get to the spring. .

Property - Dick Tardif: Nothing to report.

Newsletter - Ray Roy indicated the newsletter was published both on-line and snail mail.

Membership - Marcel Martel - Nothing to report.

IT- Mike Pendergrass in the absence of Bob Anastasoff: reported an activity spike on
the website with the addition of the ‘deceased list‘ and the monthly meeting minutes. The
report was placed in permanent record.

Nominating - Bob Belair - Nothing to report.

Golf - Mike Dion reported that the tournament raised $5,387.89 for the scholarship fund.
The report was placed in permanent record..

Capital Improvements:

Parking lot - deferred.

Dick Dion moved to donate $50.00 to BHS Girls Basketball for a program ad.
Rick Grenier seconded to be paid from Sealed Tickets. 10,0.

Mike Dion moved to sponsor a team in Biddeford Youth Hockey for $600.00.
Dick Dion seconded to be paid from Bingo. 10,0.

The Chairman indicated he was waiting for responses from the newsletter for ideas for
the 70^th celebration in 2010 and how to update the Ministry of Wakes.

With no further business before the Board, Bob Belair moved, Gary Paquette seconded
to adjourn at 7:20. Approved 10,0.
