To: Members of the St. Louis Alumni Association
Thank you all for keeping the spirit of St. Louis High School alive in this community and the Good
Shepherd Parish. You are witnesses of the quality Catholic education, the values, the camaraderie,
and the sense of community that you all felt while attending high school there. Though the Catholic
community has experienced many changes over the years since you last attended high school, a few
things remain constant in our Parish Life. The legacy of a Catholic Education has been passed on uninterrupted for many years in this community.
This Heritage is a part of who we are. Looking to preserve this tradition in our parish, it is paramount
that we remain ever vigilant in protecting what many of us hold so dear. Our current generation of parents and grandparents sacrifice and struggle with the challenges of an
uncertain economy. Our schools continue to provide an outstanding program with less revenue and
resources.Your generosity, individually and as a group, has always been welcomed and appreciated. Your
continued support is needed now more than ever as we face the economic challenges before us. The
price of heating oil, dwindling numbers in our church pews and our constant effort to keep tuition rates
affordable, all contribute to our need for additional means of funding.Your generous contribution to St. James School would help tremendously. We have set up an Alumni
Goal of $100,000 for the 2011-2012 school year. Please consider helping to make that goal a reality.
